Ok well... it hasn't been almost a year this time lol but I have been really busy these last couple of months making a book for a very important person to me! She is one of the sweetest people I know and it has been my pleasure working on this for her. A little background I met Katie where I work, she is the same age as my youngest, but we can just talk... and I really love that, well anyway this past summer (oh btw she is a journalism student) she took an internship in of all places ALASKA!! Both of us being born and raised in Florida are really infatuated with the snow, so this was perfect for her. Well during her time there she was wonderful enough to share her thoughts in a blog and pictures on her facebook of her life while she was there. Well I fell in love with Skagway, AK because of her, so I consider this just a token of my appreciation to her for sharing this wonderful summer with me! LOVE YOU KATIE!!!

HELLOOOOOOOO

Well I just looked at the date of my last entry and its almost been a year!! I actually can't believe it's been that long .... I have been uncreative!! Seriously, I have not hand made anything since... well I am guessing last summer! I have however still continued to purchase supplies during that time which has made me "re-organize" my room again! So with that almost done, I plan on returning to the craftisphere, ok its not a word but that's what I thought of when I was trying to come up with the right word for that spot lol anyway I'm off so I can finish this room up and hopefully be posting new stuff soon!

Here are the last two pages for the swaps for the Disney books we are making ... I used Dory for the girl book

just an FYI when I tried the first time to adhere the sand I used glue.... it DID NOT work it looked like crap, I used Paper Glaze and it held the sand FANTASTIC!! It really let the sand soak into it and just looks so much more realistic.

I scraplifted this from a card someone made recently and sent through a group I am so sorry whoever it was I am drawing a blank but I enjoyed your card so much I had to use the idea... if it was you speak up please :O) ok now to explain and I am so not good at that the front of the card is only the purple... and the cupcake when you open the card the cupcake is in the middle of the inside front... hope I made sense I'm not in my head lol

the bat on this opens like a card also I found a bat pattern and just mirrored it upside down and retraced with the wishblade and make it a little card its cute! google eyes on the front and outlined in black diamond stickles

another chance to use the cricut!

I am such a sucker for baby things.... I think I am going to plan out (and maybe even make) the invitations to my grandchilds shower lol LOVE the new arrival cartridge man I could play all day!

Ali is coming in 2 weeks for 5 weeks and I was just telling her how I can't wait to show her the cricut and how she is not gonna ever want to get away from it lol. I better get more paper ready!

OK so it's be a few days longer

But its been a crazy week, I start a new karaoke job this coming Wednesday night in a club DOWNTOWN!! I think I have only been downtown once in the 10 years I have lived here lol. Anyway I took some time this week to make up this book for a friends baby's first birthday!

I've been lost

But I plan on trying really hard to update more regularly now, the wedding is over and the world has calmed down a bit, finished cleaning the house today and now to attempt the s"crap" room tomorrow, I hope to make a big change in it!! Maybe I will take a before pic, although I am not sure I want anyone to see it the way it is now...lol.... I have some wedding pics I will post and some projects but its getting late tonight so I will just end with one picture and hopefully get back here tomorrow during a break in cleaning and post more otherwise it will be on Wednesday for sure!
